My Birth place Lakhane dhampus

A thing which is very important in my life is my birth place that is Dhampus Lakhane. when I ( Baikuntha prasad bhandari-polki ) travel in the world I always remember it. There is nothing extra but whatever like a facility that never count in my mind. Its a place of my pass child life. So I like to explain about the area, my near friends, my pride of focuse for village, locational popularity and planning for future generation.

A wide jungle area was located in the eastern and south side which a traveller can found jungle foot track from Phedi. We are rich for jungle and plain stone way I think a little place have in state where available stone made foot path. Our fuel for cooking food is jungle wood. It is free for community. When cultivate area which near villagers house they apply different types of seasonal planting rice, wheat, crown, vegetables, potatoes and fruits. The place where we stay now have road to go pokhara city. Now more than fifty home were available in Lakhane. All of them are made by mud, stone and wood. Those type of house are really very peacefull to stay in summer and winter reason. Gairi kheta, laknane kheta, beyada kheta, satmure bari, pachmure tin mure kheta gairi kheta, tallo lakhane, rattari, barabuta muni, yamche kheta, simpadhera, jhkri ka than, polki, masina khet, and so many local name speak.
Our population of villagers is three hundred person include children, man and women. Most of younger are not stay in village. They have a job in state or someone in gulf, India and europe. My villagers location was not like marketable place so who wants to business they have to select town or tracking area. If we promote a tracking road by village side in future business can start.
First to promote tracking way we have to remap the annapurna tracking map inter from village but before the map was show the jungle side way. It means tracker were seen only that map. Second thing for more business start a one night stay hotels and lodge inside village. We have lot of river water and we can use it to makes swimming pool and garden.

Dhampus Phedi and Ghatte Khola

Most of visitor who travel by foot the route of opening first gate was being Dhampus Phedikhola and Ghatte khola to climb up the first step after your vehicle travel from Pokhara. It is a boarder of Naundanda Ga bi sa and Dhital Ga Bi sa. There is a summer follows river which people said the name of Dhanda khola. It is start from Dhada Gau. Mostly the river was full of water in summer raining season. So it is a temporary water follows river. How ever there have two water mill people were came to make wheat flour and other types of food to make flour.
The Dhampus Phedi khola is a tourist station for first tracking day. There have a taxi station to drop people to Dhampus and move for Pokhara Lekside by taxi. However two of tourist hotels and lodge name Dhampuse maili loge and other one have at least fifty people capacity to stay in the night. Near for normal local porter and normal person have ten local hotels. The Phedi khola chahara is a beautiful water flow seen. The foot track was made from stone. When people arrive Dhampus Ghette Khola they can see a bridge it is eighteen km far from Pokhara and one km from Phedi khola. The main facility from Ghette khola is Micro Bus every half hour. Four local hotel and grocery available. Main attraction from this location is Picnic spot in winter time. Every day more than seven and saturday at least twenty Picnic event were arrive for fresh Picnic. We are now thinking for new expansion picnic area to provide more picnic facility area. You can see loud music dancing teenage people. Our main river water which found clean and wide location the spot was famous in Kaski District. You can use electricity and water for your group.

Today when I start to think about my past days, really I am very happy because my birthday is near with me. When a person is birth in this earth he have to struggle for live. Anyone with out struggle try to live today is very difficult. Everyone have responsibility to search for food. Now a food is very important to survive and it is our life. How much food still I used to survive before that were not enough for me. Neither I reject it nor I get store. You know if a food is not necessary for human he did not think to work. A work is always with person until he serve food for live. My child foods and younge foods are different but it is only the size of body. Child clothes and younge clothes were also different by body size only. Any how I am searching for fit size cloths and meal.

The view of Mount from Dhampus pick can view more near distance from your open eyes. The pick is neither hot nor so cold climate. A night in a pick available hotels gives you a fresh air condition. Local hotels and modern hotels are so many you can chose by your own choice. Distance from pokhara is only twenty two km. For road. You can walk or ride by vehicle.

Annapurna treaking first night stay dhampus

The tracking way from Pokhara to Annapurna base camp is very popular track which first day stay tourist in Dhampus village. This way is a street and fast reach the base camp. Why people love to stay a night in Dhampus? Definately they want more peaceful view from here. The high mountain looks like a paradise. A morning sun rising and sun sine in evening time also looking those mountain range are very lovely. Taking picture of different moment in the day like sometime on the cloudy view and sometime raining view attraction make visitor heart need to stay in the top hotels.
